Raised on her grandfathers' gardens, Executive Editor Rachel Jones grew up with an appreciation for fresh, local foods. Today, the Washington, Pa. native is excited to see the Pittsburgh community’s increased interest in supporting the area’s farmers and digging into the soil themselves. A frequent attendee at farmers markets during the summer, Rachel strives to share local farmers’ stories with Edible Allegheny's readers.
